SpringLOCK - Anti-theft for Wood Frames.
SpringLOCK was developed in the UK and has been proven in 1000's of installations in hotels, public buildings and restaurants around the world. Made in the UK.
SpringLOCK fits over almost any standard screw in the wall and the Locks are pushed home with thumb pressure. They can only be removed with the special Release Tool (Part no. 2957).
A SpringLOCK is one Bridge and one Lock. They are supplied as kits in bags for single frames and in bulk packs.
There are two basic installation methods for SpringLOCK: Side-By-Side Method and Hang Plate Method. Our prefered method for commercial applications is the hang plate method, this is described below.
Two Hang Plates are screwed along the top of the frame. These fit over two screws fitted into the wall. A Bridge is fitted on the bottom of the frame. The Hang Plates sit on the two screws in the wall.
A Marker Button (Part no's. 5693, 5693A) is placed in the Bridge to mark the position of the lower, third, screw. This screw is then fitted into the wall and the marker button removed.
The frame is locked by placing the Bridge over the third screw and pushing home the Lock.
